As Knives of Alaska’s heavy-duty assisted open folder, the Sidewinder is designed with LOTS of extra features making it perfect for many tasks. This substantial blade is strong and shaped to be a very useful Every Day Carry (EDC) knife. The “flipper style” opening mechanism allows for smooth, rapid, one handed operation. Both liners have been recessed and tightly fitted into each handle, so the overall thickness is thinner and much stronger than traditional locking liner knives. The “open frame” provides you with an easy-to-clean folder. Our locking liner mechanisms are made from tough “17-4” stainless spring steel and each blade is individually tested to withstand over 100 lbs. lock force.
