Denali Country Folders Series
Whether field-dressing a massive Alaskan-Yukon moose, an Arizona Cous deer, or just whittling kindling, our Denali Country Folders are up to the task. KOA's new heavy-duty folder line has many extra features. The handles have a comfortable and safe fit in your hand. A palm swell combined with the "parrot's beak" shape at the back of the handle produces a positive grip.
The handle and frame are drilled and tapped on both sides to provide secure anchor points for the removable/reversible pocket clip. Substantial locking liners are recessed and tightly fitted into each handle, so the overall thickness is thinner (by about 1/8") and stronger than most folding knives. An "open frame" provides an easy-to-clean folder, so important after field-dressing chores are completed.
The blade's "D" style pivot pin has a massive 0.312" diameter shaft through the blade for added strength and smooth operation. The blade employs an oval shaped hole for one-handed opening. With the elimination of a "thumb stud" or any other type of 90-degree protrusion off the blade, the knife's slicing and cutting ability is unimpeded. All three Denali blade styles have KOA's traditional "grip grooves."
